Nate Pierce | St. Luke’s Health Partners
Leadership Boise Alumni Association Past Chair

Nate Pierce joined St. Luke’s Health Partners in February 2016 pursuing an opportunity to expand his knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry. Being a part of St. Luke’s and their provider partner team as they move from volume to value based, accountable arrangements has proven both exciting and challenging. Prior to joining St. Luke’s Health Partners, Nate worked for PacificSource Health Plans since November of 2012. The experience gained at PacificSource furthered his understanding of the medical insurance field including underwriting new and renewing cases, utilization of directed network solutions, product and benefit design and a variety of funding arrangements. Prior to setting foot in the medical/health insurance realm, Nate worked for Willamette Dental as the sales consultant for Idaho and a portion of eastern Washington. Nate has enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of an industry that has been undergoing a tremendous amount of change and remains confident that improvements to the healthcare delivery system will result in better patient satisfaction, improved population health and overall lower costs.

Boise has been Nate’s home since birth and feels fortunate to live and raise a family in such a wonderful place. He has two children, ages nine and six, that keep him quite occupied outside of work. The love for the area is partly due to his interests and hobbies that he pursues in the outdoors. Nate is an avid biker (both mountain and road) and enjoys several board sports (snowboarding, wake surfing, paddleboarding). Additionally, Nate is a frequent concert goer and enjoys finding new and rising artists.
